Ourisman Toyota of Richmond Awards 2026 Richmond United Scholarships
At Ourisman Toyota of Richmond, we are committed to supporting the next generation of leaders in our community. Through our partnership with Richmond United, we are proud to award two annual scholarships—one to a male athlete and one to a female athlete—recognizing outstanding student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, character, and athletics.
This year, we were honored to award $1,250 scholarships to Camden Britt and Reese Alexander as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their educational and athletic journeys.
Camden Britt: Leading Through Adversity
A graduating senior from Cosby High School, Camden Britt has spent years developing both as a soccer player and as a leader through his experience with Richmond United. In his scholarship essay, Camden reflected on the impact soccer has had on his life and the valuable lessons it has taught him along the way.
As captain of the Richmond United U19 ECNL-RL Blue team, Camden learned the importance of leadership, accountability, and supporting those around him. He described how soccer taught him to overcome mistakes, remain optimistic during challenges, and continue moving forward after setbacks. Whether facing tough losses or learning from difficult moments on the field, Camden credits the game with helping him develop resilience and confidence.
This fall, Camden will continue his soccer career at Randolph-Macon College, taking with him the lessons and experiences he gained during his time with Richmond United.
Reese Alexander: Growing Through the Game
Our female scholarship recipient, Reese Alexander, has also demonstrated the qualities that make Richmond United athletes exceptional both on and off the field.
Throughout her soccer journey, Reese has embraced the opportunities the sport has provided to grow as a player, teammate, and individual. She credits soccer with helping her build meaningful relationships, develop strong values, and gain confidence in herself. The experiences and friendships she has formed through the game have played a significant role in shaping the person she is today.
Reese's dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to personal growth exemplify the qualities this scholarship was created to recognize. Her passion for the game and her ability to make an impact on those around her have prepared her for success in whatever path she chooses next.
